BIOGRAPHY
I graduated structural engineering at University of Sarajevo. My first job was teaching structural design at Architecture Faculty. This is where my interest in software engineering started. I designed and developed an application for structural analysis. After moving to North America, I switched to software engineering full time.
Early on, I adopted continuous learning approach. In this spirit, over the years, I have designed and implemented four architectures. For details, please take a look at portfolio page.
I was a software engineer, team lead, application architect but relatively quickly I found my calling as solution architect. I enjoyed all solution architecture aspects and phases from writing the proposal to solution deployed in production.
I was in charge of many solutions providing both leadership and direction. My approach to management is to have a plan but execute with agile mindset.
My classic engineering training, international experience (Canada, USA, Austria, Bosnia), solution full life cycle experience, leadership skills and capabilities enabled me to have a successful track record over period of 30 years.
